I have aquired a low mileage 1998 Chrysler 3.2L Engine from a 1998 Chrysler Concorde that has had it's top end reconditioned. I am trying to find a Salvage Body in good/excellent condition that it can be installed into. I believe that the engine will fit a 1998-2000 Concorde and I'm hoping that 1998-2000 Intrepids (and maybe even LHS's?) are of the same body style family too to increase my chances of finding a worthwhile body to install it into. I'd like to find out what all Chrysler/Dodge bodies the engine is compatible with that won't require anything more than swapping the engines out. Also, I have noticed a bumper crop of available 1998-2000 Concorde/Intrepid bodies with blown 2.7L engines and I'd like to find out whether the 3.2L Engine that I have will easily exchange with a 2.7L engine with little or no modification (i.e. will the transmissions mate up; are the motor mounts the same; will I have to obtain a new wiring harness, are the engine computers compatible (although I'm pretty sure the answer to the computer question is no))

Any help; knowlege or guidance is greatly appreciated,

Randy Mc.

Search google for Intrepid Conversions. There is a web site for a company that sells all the parts for a conversion. You can also find them on ebay. I think the site will answer most of your questions.

We are about to inherit my Mother-In-Law's 2000 Intrepid 2.7 with only 31000 miles. I'm trying to decide whether we'll drive it or trade it.
