Hi. Further to my post about my radio failing, I've been casting-about for a used OEM replacement. Apparently, most folks in '95 paid for the upgrade to the AM/FM/cassette model (I bought the AM/FM version). I'd still be happy with the simple AM/FM version, but can anyone tell me if the cassette version is plug-and-play with the electrical connectors that came with my original AM/FM version? Does anyone have a working OEM radio they want to sell cheap? Thanks, Al.

Direct swap... Chrysler has used the same wiring configuration for years. You should be able to pick one up from a salvage yard fairly cheap if needed. I think I ditched mine, but I'll take a look in the closet to see if the one from my Ram is in there (identical). Pretty sure it had a cassette... If it's there, just figure out shipping and it'll be on the way.

Best of luck!

There you go.Yould be better off going to someone than some place to get the replacement. I priced a factory replacement for my neon and the place quoted me like 120 bucks. (needless to say I told them to kiss my ass). Yes It was USED. and they kept it. Id spend 300 on a new one before I would spend over 100 for used.

Radar said he's got one he'll sell cheap. Sounds like the way to go there. Good luck.
