I have a 95 neon with a 2.0 dohc. If I don't drive the car everyday then the battery dies. Battery is new and the alternator tested good. How do I fix it? Sounds like I have a short somewhere. any tips?

Sounds like there is something shorted. Look for wires melted together. Corrossion inside the wires, ect. Something is draining the battery of its power. The fuel pump isnt staying on is it. Something running on the car might do that, maybe a bad relay isnt shutting off something. Thats what Id look for but Im no professional.

We had a similar problem on my dad's Focus. We ended up hooking a mulimeter up to the battery, then pulling fuses and sensors until we found it. His ended up being a 5v power to one of the sensors (MAP?) grounding out within the sensor itself.
