I Drive a Dodge Stratus 2000 ES, 2.5 V6. The car drives very well; ever I got a tune-up recently and the all of a sudden the check engine light starts coming on. The codes were 1294 and 0306. What I am puzzled about is, how can these codes relate to a cracked flywheel. Is there a Diagnostic tool on the market that can detect a cracked flywheel without visual observation?
What are the symptoms that would indicate this condition? I understand code 1294 has to do with emissions and misfiring of cylinder #6 is electrical, but what would indicate to someone with these codes that the flywheel is cracked. Can anyone shed some light Pleeease!!!
Thank you.
