NO don't go with borla. They have too much packin and it will muffle the sound too much. I had it on my r/t and it was really quiet. I had to mash the throttle to even hear it. And i also had JBA headers and a high flow cat with 2 1/2 inch pipes. If you want something that you will be able to hear you could also look at Flowmaster 40 series 1 chamber muffler. Its not that i don't have anything against borla but why pay so much for a muffler and not be happy with it. I paid 100 and some bucks for mine and i hated it. The only thing good about it, it was stainless steel.

As I said, Borla. You don't want a loud V6 it will sound bad. I had a Borla on my old S-10 4.3 V6 and it sounded deep, REALLY mellow, and had a hint of V8 rumble.

I don't know about Borla, but I have heard some good things about Flowmasters.

I have a friend who has a Borla, and it makes trucks sound nice. Its a deep sound not a whiney "i drive a honda" sound.
