Last time I filled it up with gas, I was resetting the trip odometer when i started the engine. Now the odmeter display is stuck with some random numbers. It doesnt go away. I was thinking about unplugging the battery to try ressting the computer, but I dont really want to. Plus taking it to the dealership is a pain in the ass for me. Would unplugging the battery be ok? Any thoughts?

OUCH! Not really sure what to do, you may have to visit the dealer.

Maybe try calling the dealer and ask them what to do?

Try keeping the OD reset pin in and turning the key from ACCESSORY to ON. This should do a 'self test' to fix.

i have been doing some reading and have also experienced some minor electrical problems myself, you may have to go to the dealer and get your ecu flashed to correct this issue. also, make sure that if you do disconnect your battery that you only disconnect the ground (black) wire. if not, you run the risk of activating the anti-theft system and totally disabling the car. (at least that is what the service guy told me once I had my car towed back to the dealership) i learned that the hardway. :(
