hard start 1993 dodge caravan

1993 dodge caravan 3.3 v6 230,000km. Just had tranny rebuilt 12 days ago, a couple of days ago starting became a problem. Have crank 5/6 times before it would start. Seemed as thought it was starving for gas. The fuel pump had never been changed and was getting noisy, so replaced that and the fuel filter as well, the problem has not changed. No engine error codes. So my question is could a hard start be anyway related to the tranny rebuild.?

the problem was a mal adjusted crankshaft position sensor, which was not set up properly when tranny r&r. Cranked just like it was starving for gas. I would never have guessed in a million years. I buddy mechanic figured it out after a far number of hours.
