It's about time for a tune up and I wanted to know if I should spend the extra for platinum spark plugs. I'm not anticipating a great leap in performance, but if it helps it helps. Also, are the more durable/last longer than conventional plugs? Any comments or personal experiences would help me out.

When I looked for plugs for my 99' they did not offer them. In fact Champion was the only company that had plugs for this engine. This may have changed by now. Good luck...............

Stick with Champion.......do not go with Bosch plat for the intrepid.

Why not?can actually cause mis-fire codes.......best to stay with the recommended Champions like the factory installed. Ive seen numerous instances to lay these claims.
