*NEW* How Often Do You See A Magnum?

OK, I started the old "How oftend do you see a magnum" last December. Let's do it all over again to see if the results are the same!

Lucky you. It seems that I saw more magnums when I was shopping around for one then I do now that I own one. Which is weird. It is usually the other way around

Hard to believe, but I live at the beach in So. Calif. and I still am not seeing an awful lot of Magnums. There are a couple of Magnum owners around here and I do see their cars a lot, but I am not really seeing as many Magnums as I thought I would by this time. I have not seen another MSRT8, other than the other one at Zoomers when we did the videos that are on their web site, either. (BTW - Zoomers is shooting a TV commercial this Thursday using my car)

Of course all this will change on October 15th when, probably, 60 or 70 LX based vehicles will converge on Huntington Beach for the big Meet.

Thats me too. RT's are rare for some reason. I think that the owners and just hiding them in a garage somewhere or something....

Here in North Central Florida, I see more 300's than Magnums.

I usually see at least one Magnum a day.

The RT's are just being kept in its box.. I personally drive my Rt once a month to work. Otherwise I drive my bucket as my daily driver.

Outside of work where I see them constantly, I do see Magnums on a regular basis in the Houston area.... usually about one a day.

Me personally, I don't mind if I don't see Magnums where I'm at cause I just love the attention mine is getting. I do see alot of the 300's and so does the rest of the people here too. That's why when most people see my Magnum it's become a staring epidemic. I do see a couple of SXT's around but hardly any RT's.

My wife is even noticed the attention it gets. She loves it too. We have a fun game evertime we go somewhere. She just loves watching these people wether they be walking or driving just braking their necks trying to make out what kind of car is that. I asked her if she wanted the Magnum and I'll just get me an SRT-8, It's kind of in the works so I'll keep trying.

But here in the Placer County Ca. area I do not see much RT's.

Everyday, but that is because it is in the driveway. I agree thought that there are not alot cruisin the streets. Wonder why since the set-up is sweet!!

:cool: Where I live in Queens, there's a good 8 - 10 different Magnums including my own that I see. Which I think is a good amount, not too much, not too little. About 60-40 R/T to SXT's, no SE's.

Was stopped at a light once and a guy walks over and says 'hey, my son has the exact same car'. I've noticed that car before so I asked him to look at the front side of my car to show him the badge, then asked him does his son's car have the same thing. He looked and said 'no'. I said 'then, it's not the same car'. He had to smile :cool:

Want to hear something strange. Ran into a buddy at the beach today that I hadn't seen for awhile. Takes me out to show me his new car, that he just driven home from the dealer. Guess what? A brand new, Inferno Red, SRT8! No kidding!

I look at him and point over to where my car is parked and he about sheites. Fired up the Zoomers for him (sorry done) and his eyes lit up. Showed his the Mopar CAI and he wants that too.

He had to go so I didn't get any more info, but I'm hoping he will be in town and can bring it over to the big HB Meet on 10/15.

Honestly,
I could not tell any SOP difference after having it installed. Did not do a b-4 and after dyno as planned. Added the Mopar CAI that weekend and I have to say that the car does seem to be running better and better.

You know? With 425 HP stock, (or close to it) I think that it would be hard for anyone to tell if you picked up another 10-25 HP! Seems like my throttle response is better than it was before but, then again, I had less than 1000 miles on it. I don't notice any increase in the "sound" since I added the CAI but I am running Zoomers (sorry done) and they just are real loud. And I love that!

Sorry for another droning response to, what should have been, a one sentence answer.

Here I am in SoCal, L.A. to be exact, and I rarely see any Magnums. Once a week at the very most.... Seems like ever since I got my wheels, they all stay away.

the mag's are pretty popular out here in the hampton roads,va area along with the 300's. I usually see about 3 or 4 different ones a day. most are the se's but i do see a lot of rt's also.

Out here in the middle of boonfork, PA, the Mags are quite rare. I only know of two that I see on a regular basis. There is a killer Black R/T running around my town, and a silver SXT drives through just about every day. Where my wife works (15 miles north) she sees a crapload of them every day. I wish I saw one in my driveway everyday(!) :D

i see 2 or 3 in the hood mostly the ones with the wind up rubberband engines ..hemi's are a rare breed in my neck of the hood...but i do see a mag hemi every day now parked in my drive way..now if i only could get the wifey to let me drive it?....huuumm

I hardly ever seen anything else other than other those god awful 300C's.

I'm sorry to bash on a DC product, but that has to be one of the frigging ugliest pieces of crap out there. The performance/interior is great as I've heard, but it looks like a giant cheese grater.

I see a couple once in a while.. I flash once and pull up next or behind them but there in another world. Mag owners, company cars but NO MAG lovers so I blow on past.

O yeah most of them are SE or SXT's. Only seen one RT and no AWD's..

Starting to see more (2) on Route 78 in NJ.. But there all SXT's, seen at least one SXT AWD, it wasn't Aikidoka from here.

Still no flash's.. I'm starting to give up on SXT's and only wave to RT's. RT's care.. ;)

I haven't seen too many since I bought mine three weeks ago. But that is one of the reasons I bought one, not too many around and adds to the uniqueness. I was actually downtown one night at a stop light when another inferno red RT pulls up next to me and there is this older couple (maybe 60ish) waving at me and giving me the thumbs up. I thought that was cool.

Hey Dracos....Mine would be sitting if it only got a stinkin 9 mpg......I just did my MPG and it is 19.8 city... which is off a little,,, usally 21.2........HWY 31.6 mpg. road trips etc :)

I live in GA, and I used to see 'em a whole lot before I bought one..now they like endangered species. The ones I see now usually have da "E" on da bumper indicating it's a rental.

i am in the Air Force and on my base alone there are 2 R/T's 3 SXT's and 1 SE, and ive seen a charger cruisin around lately too.

in my town, i see one other mag, also inferno red. havent been close enough to make out its model though....

i agree about the rubber-necking you see going on driving it. i had a lady at the gas station one day just gushing over how pretty the car is :)
