That looks pretty damn sweet. I like!

Remove the front license plate...or at least the dealer holder.

They send a bar w/ a handle &hooked on the other end. Took latch off drilled per instructions( they send good pics & instructs) slides through part of grill mount bracket. pop[ hood reach under hood pull handle comes right open.

no problem, makes me feel good to know someone else likes it enough to get one for their truck. It really does change the look of the truck.

You'll like it, I know I do. Best money I've spent yet. I never really cared for the front end of the new Daks (I bought one anyway). The E&G grill makes the front a little easier on the eyes...

Wow, that is a very nice look. The new Dakotas really need that little bit extra on the front end. The stock grille just doesn't look good all alone. I can't wait to see the new 06 Sport model with the painted grille shell and some inserts.

Thanks for the quick response. The only web site I can find is egclassic com That is the manufactures web site. There are no prices listed. I did find a phone # to the west coast distribution center, but they told me I had to call the corporate office in MD. Thats the one I called already and was told $264

There are several web sites that sell the grill, but the best price I found was $195 shipped. Do you by chance remember who's web site you looked at? Sorry to be a pain, I'm usually good at finding good deals but not this time.

Thanks for your help,
Tim

Yeah, it's a quality piece. I was surprised at how heavy duty the "mesh" is when I unpacked the grill. Good stuff, should last forever.

Your Grill looks nice. I was checking out the E&G gril out myself. How long did it take to install. Does it require a lot of drilling. The drilling part is what concerns me. And I mite have to have custom shop install one for me.

Only took about 1 1/2 hrs.,was helping a friend mount a 5th. wheel in his truck at the same time. the drilling is nothing real easy just get a pkg. of flat washers before you start made for a more secure mount when running the screws insome of the holes. If you use tools at all it's pretty easy & well worth it in MHO. good luck
