Sweet man, I can't wait to see the pics with the new spoiler. Also the exhaust is different from a few years back when I saw it isn't it? You should tint the windows man or are they hard on tickets down there to? I did mine but went with 35 so its not to dark and the cops don't seem to mind, I would have liked 20 tho but you gotta live with it I guess.

oh yeah it is a completely diff exhuast system the one I had when we were in KC last year was a Magnaflow dual tiped muffler clamped on the stock exhuast pipes, this is a MODIFIED Catback system from Apexi, it is their N1 Fireball system that I made a couple changes to :D I haven't been to worried about the windows, I am just more worried about gettin my lowering springs on. As for the Spoiler I have to figure out how to get it on because it will not just bolt on it needs to be a lil moddified

I am hoping that with all the stuff I have done to it maybe someone will finally try to get me COTM *lol* but I bet even if someone tried I would still get out voted so I just ain't gonna worry bout it

those are 15" rims, my car came origionally with 13" wheels so I followed the old no more than 2" bigger than stock size rule/theory

Tuner it is looking tight! One question about those painted tail lights..... Are those the stock tails? Im wondering becouse I was thinking of doing something like that to mine but a tad different.I have clear chrome euros but I see them everytime I turn my head.
Was debateing tinting the clear lens red, that would be neat I think. The chrome back should make the red tint seem to glow. Anyhow im stuck in the middle.

Paint my stockers or tint my clears? Heck maybe I should do both....LOL
Let me know what you think!

Those are the stock taillights, I just went to Auto Zone and found a rattlecan of colormatch paint and black primer then went to a local hobbyshop and picked up a sheet of vinyl and cut my own circles out and put them where I wanted and primered then painted them, about 45 min later thatsd how they looked when I pulled the vinyl off. I did have to do a lil cleaning up around the edges but that was easy and I have have not seen anoughter Neon with lights like it which is what I want, but I also want the crome tailights, just don't have the money for them and this only cost me about $11

oh and if anyone else wantsd to do it the eyelids like I did, you have to watch out cuase there is a peice of the lense that sticks out and you will get paint where ya don't want it and have to clean it up also

I here you there Tuner,,,,,,not another neon like it. Same deall with me I want to be one of a kind and not just like the Jones's down the road.Ya know..Anyhow I will take a pic of my stock tails and show you how I got them done up! I used water based paint for an easy wash off if I didnt like it, but if I did like it Id still remove it and do the color match,They are in black for now but not on the car Im running my Chrome euro's now and want to Tint them red to make them different. Either that or pull off the clear lens and paint the chrome color match, What do you think bro.

I would think the color matching the crome OR getting that anodized look spraypaint and painting over the crome would look better than tinting

I think you are right ! I need to get on that....The clear lens needs the inside cleaned anyway....A word to the wise from my own expeirience.. Don't use the car wash high pressure wand!!!! Water getts into them clear tails if you don't watch it. Im going to use my airbrush to do the painting with PPG color match (reg automotive paint), Then I will clear them with some stuff from Napa. I found that a mixxing it a little strong on the hardner 2 1/2 - 1 it hardens up quite nice. Much harder than some of the factory paint jobs I seen. My dads Dakota for 1. He used a carwash brush on it and I kid you not It looked like he used a belt sander..I couldnt have torn my Neons paint up like that with a scotch brite pad.I hooked him back up with my buffer.

The WideBody has been a lot of work but, a lot of fun as well. Our friend Mike is helping us with it. He's very "Wicked Creative" when it comes to fiberglass. The guys come up with ideas from a lot of car shows on tv and a lot of the numerous Magazine subscriptions-I keep around the house. LOL They take these ideas and make them their own with a personalized touch. I can't wait until this is done complete with Paint it's going to be one of the best looking Neon's in our area. I may have some time to Post pics tomorrow.(Friday)

Here are the first few WideBody Pics. As you can see everything will be completely molded in and smoothed out. Our friend Mike is a Natural at Fiberglassing. He has decided to smooth out the gap where the rear quarter and the bumper met.
