Seat Question

Could someone tell me if the seats from a 2nd generation dodge will fit into a 74-79 dodge. I want the bench seats that have the fold down console.

no, they won't, at least not without extensive modification to the brackets. i tried to fit the same thing in my 72 . it was too wide & sat too high. i could barely fit under the wheel. what i'm looking at trying now is a 97-up dakota bench seat, but haven't got a chance yet. i would try that. if you do, let me know how you do.
