My friend has a neon pulling up 21, 41 and 44 trouble codes. 21 is O2 sensor, which he already knew is bad. 41 is "short in charging system" and 44 is "battery temperture sensor malfunction". Does anyone have any insight on what these codes mean as far as fixing the problem? I'm fairly new to neons myself as well and i'm not exactly sure what either of the codes (41, 44) mean as far as whats wrong. I mean i read what the code means but I dont understand whats wrong or what needs fixing. His battery wiring has been all boogered up from the previous owner, is that the problem? and if so should it be worried about? Thanks for your help guys.
