Well, went by the local Dodge dealer today and out in front was a shiny new black SRT8! Man was she beautiful! Those bright red Brembos staring out at me, that sleek looking new front cap and those big, lush bucket seats. Oh man! Sticker price was $38K and change. dealer is offering the employee discount PLUS a $10K minimum trade in value for anything you bring in! Why didn't I wait! WHYYYYYY! :VHOT:

Saw one at my dealer Friday. Their sticker price was 42,998. I wish I waited as well, but, I'm still glad to have a first year model. Even though it has some problems (as most 1st year editions do). I don't like the sub-woofer in the rear cargo area of the SRT. It can't be moved when you put down the seat. There is also no rear deck just the storage area. I think I like everything from the rear seats back better in the R/T. IMHO

After looking at the body up close, I noticed it didn't have the extended fender flares like they showd in all of the pictures. What happened?

Ya, they dropped the extended flares from the prototype for production. No need for another die I guess, eh.
