i'm looking to buy a magnum r/t in the next week or so & the last thing i haven't decided is awd or rwd,

i live in canada & have plenty of snow but i'm buying a magnum r/t mainly because i want the rear wheel drive....

is anyone know if there's any way to disable the front wheel drive, manually or electrically???

what does a awd undercarriage look like? anyone got one & would be willing to post pics???

No, not easily. 4WD you can engage and dis-engage the front drive wheels, but in AWD there is a limited slip center differential that varies how much power goes to the front and rear wheels while still allowing them to turn at different speeds. There isn't going to be a simple (i.e. flip of a switch) way to do disconnect the front wheels.

In reality the traction control nannies are going to limit your RWD fun to some extent anyway so if AWD is vital to where you live get it, otherwise get the RWD and some good snow tires for those times when you have the white stuff to drive in.
