The car is running as crappy as it ever has
It is a 98 neon r/t
I checked the codes and they read 12, 43, 32
12 is not a big deal but 43 is a misfiring cylinder(s), and 32 is a egr system failure
Has anyone ever ran into this problem, and if so how did you fix this?

your egr is bad. same thing happened to my '97 sport. Its misfiring because of the egr, so dont worry about the 43 code. I'm pretty sure its your egr but before you go spend $95 on one you should check it first. under yer hood on the right hand side, there is a round cylinder shaped sensor made of black plastic. It is mounted on a plastic brace that is attached to the air intake tube. It is located just behind the fuse box. The sensor has a vaccum line attached to the front and wires clipped onto the back. with the car running pull the vaccum line off the sensor (it just pops on and off). If your idle returns to normal and the car runs smoothly when you pull it off, thats your problem. I just had what sounds like the same exact thing happen to my car like 2 weeks ago. If you have any questions i'll try and help because i'm 99.9% sure its your egr. Good luck with it anyway.
