Grille Mod

Ok, so here's my idea. I want to cut out the honeycomb part of my existing grille and replace it with a billet grille looking material. Now, I'm not stupid enough to try this without some sort of backup, so I need help finding where I can get a spare grille for cheap of free, incase I screw up. Also I need help trying to find the right material to make the bars out of. I don't want to use the door/window molding that is so popular with the '01/'02s making a fake billet grille. I want to use something stiff that is either chrome or flat black and looks like the billet grilles on other Dodges.

I've been searching for a couple months, and can't figure out what material to use. Any insight anyone can provide would be appreciated. :help:

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye out over there for what other people have done. But I haven't seen anything like what I want to do. But the people there are all such asshats that it makes it an unfriendly place (at least compared to here anyway).
