Im sure this is a stupid question, but I have no idea. I have a small needlepoint sized hole in my radiator. I bought some stop leak to temporarily fix the problem. Now my radiator cap looks like it's not meant to come off, and thats where the stop leak is supposed to be poured in. I know I can get the radiator cap off with some force, but Im assuming thats probably not the right thing to do.

It's meant to come off. Let the car cool, press down and turn at the same time and it will come off.

Ok well now I got it off, thank you. There is alot of orangish red build up from when it overheated. Im assuming I should flush and clean the radiator now before putting the stop leak in? I tried to buy the stuff to clean it at the auto parts store, but the guy said it was pretty much unecissary.

you should get one off those radiator caps you can crack open slightly, (you know with the red lever on top) in case it overheats so you can limp it home.

Just pay the money and get a radiator before that stop leak really ****s shit up.
I would never put that in my car seems to me like coolant ports on the head would be sealed shut or close to it,,,,,just aint no good ! It can't be,think about it!!!!!!!!!!!
Just my 2 cent tho.

I've had nothing but bad luck with the radiator stop leak crap on 3 different cars. A shop may be able to weld that pinhole for your for $20 or so. Still, if the rad is looking its age, just replace it. FWIW, you can get an aluminum core for less money than the crappy copper core version (http://www.coolradiator.com/HPAPDodgeNeon.htm).
