I have a 1984 dodge 150 van, (factory propane) with an intermittent starting problem. It will turn over but not start during wet weather. Starts and runs like a charm when dry.

I've had the propane delivery system checked and there are no problems.
Replaced the distributor cap, rotor, cables. The coil has been tested and works well.

Any suggestions about what to try next would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try spraying WD-40 in the distributor cap. This will disperse any moisture and help keep moisture out.

Thanks Nate,

I've tried that to no avail.

It appears to be a problem with wiring. I'm not getting a spark from the coil when there's a lot of moisture in the air. It looks like I will be examining wiring for the next little while.

It's either in the wiring or the pickup module in the distributor is being affected by the moisture or the ignition module.
