i have a 04 neon sxt, i did a wheel rotation over the weekend, does anybody have the torque spec for the wheels by chance, i took the wheels off with my torque wrench at 130ftlbs, i don't think they should be that tight!!, these are factory chrome mag wheels.

That seems way too tight. I use 100ftlbs on my 1st gens.

It is 110 lbs, do it in a star pattern.

All the 2nd gens were 110 ft-lbs. The 1st gen 5-luggers were 100 ft-lbs, the 4-luggers were 95 ft-lbs.
Wal-Mart's expert mechanics torqued mine to over 280 ft-lbs once... Now I take my torque wrench and camera with me (to anyplace that takes off the wheels - Firestone for free alignments and Wal-Mart for free balancing primarily), ask to speak to the service manager, and let him know I'll be happy to torque them myself, and I have a family lawyer on retainer...
