I have a 89 dodge ram that has a 318 tbi. It has about 192,000 on it,and it is getting horrible gas milliage. it is spewing fuel on the gas tank and frame. could anyone give me any ideal what could be causeing this problem? is it the fuel filter? what about the fuel pump? could it be the fuel regulator on the throttle body? The truck run very good,and iddles good too. I would appresiate any advise that someone could give me. my e-mail address is mopar89ram@yahoo.com

have you checked all your lines & fittings to make sure they are tight & not cracked? does it have an electric fuel pump or mechanical? if electric, is it in-tank or external? only an external would be leaking on the tank & frame. i wouldn't think it would be the regulator, usuallythat either send more fuel through the injector or cut it off completely.

leaks can make for some bad mileage if worse comes to worse...treat it like a fat girl, shake it down with flour and hunt for the wet spot.:shoot:
