Removing scratches from glass.

Is there anything I can use to remove very fine scratches from glass.
My window was scratched with sandpaper. I would prefer to use something I already have i.e. rubbing compound, polishing compoung, etc. Which is best.
I don't have the $$ for a glass polishing kit.
