For those of you that have a 97-99' Dodage Caravan, what is your gas mileage like? How many km's do you normaly get per tank if you run it pretty much dry...with normal driving.

I gotta say that my mileage isn't as high as I expected. I regularly maintain it and recent tuneup, plugs and wires and a K&N filter still only gets me 13-15 mpg in stop & go situations and about 23-25 on the highway depending on how hard I'm driving. For all of the grief SUV drivers take for their mileage, mine isn't a whole lot better. A friends V8 Explorer gets 12/22.

My 96 T & C with 3.8 L is up to 295,000 miles, and still gets 24 on the highway, and 19 around town. I just verified that on a long trip. It did better by a mile or two when it was younger. On these long trips, it takes right around 400 miles to go from full to empty, maybe 330 when I'm driving around town. Sorry, I don't remember my metric conversions, but next time I'm on the QEW, I'll take a measure.

My 2000 Dodge Caravan with a 3.0 engine and 103,000kms. doesn't get as good of mileage as i thought it would. I get about 450 kms. in city driving. We're getting ready to go out east, New Brunswick, this weekend, so i can see how it is on the highway. My '95 Voyager with a 3.3 engine and 254,000 kms. gets better mileage in town, close to 500kms. per tank.
