I'm starting to think it was a bad idea to buy used! This morning I go to start my 2003 3500 CTD manual trans and nothing happens, not a click, turnover or anything. I checked the batteries and both are at 12.75. So I begin to pull fuses, all check out OK. I then try to crank again, again nothing. I then held the key in the start position and began to let out on the clutch slowly and it cranked right up. Does anyone know what this is symptomatic of? :help:

Sounds like the clutch pedal safety switch is out of adjustment, or is going bad.

How far off the floor before she cranks? Does the clutch grab while you let it out? I think Cooter is on track with this one, check the clutch interlock switch and let us know what you find. Good Luck... Chris
