how is it done? Does it just make the turbo sound sweet? performance gains?
I think my truck is the 04.5....how do i tell?

i think someone said that you have to remove the intake tube to the turbo, then remove the ring...they said it doesnt increase power or anything, its just to make it louder and they say it makes it quite a bit louder. they said to save the ring just in case you didnt like it being that loud

Well, you've already got it done now... so no need for me to go into it. lol
As for telling what you have, look on the driver side of the manifold and look at what it has the HP listed at. 325 and you've got the 04.5+.
