They don't have a suspension kit out for the 3/4 tons as far as I know... just the 1500's. But then again I'm not goin that route with this truck so I haven't really looked into it other then a set of coil spacers...

Like Bubba said, ain't nothin' out yet. I can tell you that the 2500 already has a slight lift over the height of the 1500 anyway. If 35-inch tires fit on a stock 1500 4x4 then technically, there should be no problem on a 2500 because it has more clearance in the wheel wells. I don't think I'm going to do a lift either because even a 3-inch lift would make the truck too tall to go most places I drive.

there is pleanty of space between the wells in this truck to put huge tires on. here's a stock pic of my 03 3/4 ton.

I read that on here about a 1500 clearing 35's... I'm still skeptical on that. I rolled a set my 35's (on 16.5" rims.:() and it was gonna be really close. Now I know that with the coil spacer, it's pretty much gaurented that they'll clear... but I just don't see it happening on a stock 1500. But I do know for a fact that 33's will slide right on there and never have to give a second thought about them clearing...

They've already got one for the '03 3/4 tons? It took nearly a year to see them for the half tons. How'd they come up with one so fast for the 3/4-tons? My next question is, how big a lift are we talking?

Though you'd be interested to know that the BFG All Terrain T/A's in 315/70R17 appear to fit the '03, 2500, 4x4 in stock trim on the steel wheels. A guy over on pickuptruck.com was kind enough to share photos with me. I think that it's actually a 34.5-inch tire and it does look close depending on the angle at which you view the truck. However, he says he's had no problems with rubbing or anything else. His gas mileage has apparently been pretty decent too. 15mpg at an average of around 70mph over 600miles. I'll have to ask him for permission before posting any of his photos but I think I'm going for this size since I've at least seen photos of an identical truck and like the look.

Well If they do work... then I may shell out the cash for the 35x12.5x18 BFG Mud Terrain's or may try to save some money and opt for the 355x65x18's (I think that's the right numbers...) Nitto Grapplers. I may still go for the coil spacers as well just to give it that much more room and for a better look...

yeah bubba, i don't know about the new 3/4 tons or 1500s' but, the 2000 ram 1500s' i could only fit a 285/75/16 on and it had plenty of clearance for turning. the guy said i would need a lift to turn 33s.....they would fit without it but , they would have the clearance to turn. i really looking for photos with 2003 3/4 ton 4x4 with about a 3 or 5" suspension lift with 33s or 35 super swampers on it. then i can propaly determine which route to go when i get mine....thanks again.any related questions, feel free to ask..

With permission from the owner, I'm attaching a photo of an '03 Ram2500, Quad Cab 4x4 on BFG All Terrain T/A's in 315/70R17. The truck's suspension is stock and he's running 4.10 gears. I'm thinking my truck would probably do well to have 4.10 gears installed as well because it's identical except in color and the fact that I'm running the 3.73 rear-end. I'm guessing my truck will be a little sluggish off the line with this larger tire size but that's not necessarily a bad thing since I am burning up the factory tires as is...Can't keep that big @$$, size 14, boot out of the gas long enough to up shift between stop lights. :D

I'm glad I got my 2500 now. Helevitia's 1500 has a 4" lift on 35's and looks to be almost the same height and have the same tire clearance as a stock 2500 on 35's in the photo I posted earlier.

I've decided I'm gonna go ahead and throw a set of 35's on my truck when I do it. I'm still gonna look for the coil spacers and slap that on just to give it a lil more hight up front. :)

Hey GCM, found those two pics on my site (sent you an email), figured I'd link them here just in case you hadn't already.
Hey Bubba_Hemi,
What are coil spacers? Do they basically do the same thing as a front end leveling kit? My 4X4 2500 sits nose down and I've been looking for a way to fix that. A front end leveling kit would cost me about $800 bucks!
There has to be an alternative!
Oh, keeping with this thread, I've got ProComp 305's on my truck with no problems. There's plenty of room to go to 315's. I just need new wheels! Not too many people make a 17" wheel for a 3/4 Dodge truck!

Yea, coil spacers and a front leveling kit are pretty much the same... although there might be more to a front leveling kit which is why it cost more. Coil spacers vary in price depending on who makes them and what they make them out if... but it's around 2 to 300 for a 2" spacer.

Hey there is a place in Beaumont, Tx called Extreme suspensions I talked to the guy the other day about a suspension lift for a 2003 2500 with cummins diesel. He told me that he could do a 3" suspension lift or a 3" body lift on this truck. The only other kit out right for this truck is a 10" whiplash suspension and they are going to do one this coming week. He said $800 for the body lift which it would be much cheaper if you have a regular gas motor, or he could 6" he would do both for $1400. Hope this helps:D
