nozzles 98-00

i bought nozzles for a power upgrade but now they do not fit.
jammer series for model year 98.5-2002 dodge 24v

seems like my engine doesnt match the year of build.
its a 24v 5.9 cumming diesel bought as a 2000 model at the end of 1999.
we imported the car ourselves to the netherlands.

does anybody got an answer for this ?
or how i can find out whats te engine the year of build?

24 valve is the correct engine for a 1999 and 2000. The 12 valve stopped early part of 1998.

but why are the nozzles so much different from the standard nozzles?
has there been an engine update somewhere over the years?

The new injectors that you got may be for the newer trucks (03up). I think that they have a different style injector. As far as I know the 98.50-02 trucks are all the same. The injectors should be physically the same for all of them.

already found an other way to upgrade, so for now im happy.
still its strange that on every internet site they say that the nozzles i bought are for the 98-02 engine.. its even written on the box.
