Cleaning the IAT sensor

Does anyone here have any info on this. I just bought a 02 2500 CTD and stumbled across this url below (Weird, this board won't allow me to post a url) I was just wondering if this is true or not. As for MPG I get about 14 in town and 17 hwy so if it's true it sounds easy enough to clean.

I'm just curious if anyone thinks it's worth it to remove the IAT and clean every 20,000 miles or so.
