Personally, to me, it's very dissapointing. The output numbers are great and all, but I would much rather see a new V8 Hemi dropped into the SRT-10, it would make it lighter, and more importantly, cheaper.
Just my $0.02.

I agree as well, a supercharged HEMI V8 would be better because of the weight reduction, and cheaper as well, would easily be able to take a Lightning. Oh well, maybe Dodge will suprise us when they change the engine specs and performance.
Last I read though, Dodge was dropping the V10 in favor of a HEMI v8 6.1L.

The Ram SRT-10 in a Quad Cab version would be the only truck that I would consider selling my present Ram to get. (I sometimes need more passenger room.)
I don't think I'm going to get one now since I've spent so much money on my Viper and extensive mods, though, but I sure hope that it's affordable for the rest of you (& maybe for me in the future if I ever stop spending money on my Viper).

I am going to the Chicago Auto Show this weekend. Will dodge be showing the MSRP for this bad ass truck??:dunno:
I have heard the rumors of this Truck being 50k and that is never going to compete with the Lighting. Even though the SRT kicks its ass :rocket: the sure cost will push more drivers to the cheap fords.
