My daughter just called and said when she went to get an oil change they told her the oil pan has a crack in it. I live a couple hours away. I need to know how difficult it is to get the pan out. There are no Neons close to me to look at. I'm a V8 man and have no experience with front wheel drive. I don't need a step by step process but a basic idea of what lies ahead and how long it should take without airtools. Thanks for any help.

Boy sounds like you got some fun ahead of ya *L* Actually taking the Oil pan off of a Neon is not all that bad, without airtools I would say about an hour (if ya know what your doing) I was lucky enough to just have my motor pulled when I put a blue anodized pan on. I am a former V-8 guy that now has a 4cyl Neon that has smoked just about every V-8 it has come up against

wow turner! you can smoke v8 in your neon? damn! how mucgh horses you got in it? I have 132 stock in mine and let me tell you its a very fun car to drive. I can go 0-60 in about 8 seconds, maybe a few seconds longer ion hills. My neon doesnt struggle that much at all. Neon is the best small car out there. I also found that doing the very simple maintenence on neons is very very easy. I guess thats why i love them and they are good cars!

My Neon has 303 HP at the front wheels and as soon as I add my second turbo that I have sitting in the garage I should be close to 400 FWHP. So far I have had a best time of a 12.52 in the 1/4 and am gunning for mid to low 11's
