Any of you guys changed out your front coils? I'm looking to replace the sagging coils on my truck (rubbing on my 265/75/16's  ) and add a couple of inches to level her out. I was considering spacers, but was advised against it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just noticed this "diesel" forum ... posted a similar post in the gasser performance forum ... stupid Andrew! :banghead:

Cheers!

Are your coils atually sagging or are you just trying to level the truck. I put in 2 inch steel spacers and it was quick and easy. My srings were fine, if they had actually sagged i would probably replaced them. I have 295/75/16's with no problems, will rum 35's when i wear them out.

Yes, they are actually sagging. The front of the truck dips pretty low and my 265's are now rubbing on the wheel well liners when I hard crank. I was going to go with spacers, but was advised to replace the coils. Since I'm going to do that, what the hell, I'll just add a couple of inches to level her out too! The vehicle is a 2WD, so it's been a pain trying to find something aftermarket. I have a couple of emails into coil manufacturers, so hopefully I'll hear something. I'd really like to talk to someone who's done the switch, just to make sure I'm doing the right thing!
