Does anyone know how to get the EVIC to come back on? I am pretty sure that I have seen a few threads that talked about this happening but I can't seem to find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Turn your radio off...
Press your compass button...
then press and hold the two lower inner buttons on the wheel ( I forget how they are labeled)

Too late... I took it to the shop and they are replacing some parts(not really sure what).
How sure are you that this will work? I might go up to the dealer and try it out. I think they are waiting for parts anyways.

yup... and I lost my Fuel guage and Speedo.
The dealer has it now and they got me a fully loaded Pacifica (rental) to drive while I wait for the part to come in. The Pacifica has a lot of cool options but it is so damn weak compared to my RT. Man, I miss my car. At least I can drive my wife's SRT-4 to get my fix.

We test drove a Pacifica before buying the Magnum. My wife got 2 freeway ramps, one merge and one pass. She took it straight back to the dealer and said "not enough power" I didn't even have to drive it!!!! Yippeeeee...

Good save! That car is so weak and it has horrible fuel economy. I'm kinda glad I got to try it out though because it gave me chance to see how much a DVD player can help to calm the kids down. I am really gonna have to get one of those in the Magnum.

I wonder if pressing the trip reset button and holding it in while turning the ignition switch to on would have helped in this situation.
Thats how you test all lighbulbs and guages and I think it also calibrates the guages and the digital display. One of the last things you see it doing is lighting every pixel on the dispaly at the bottom of the speedo and then it just says "DONE".

If I have time I might swing by the dealer ship and try your suggestion. I would like to think that the dealer's mechanics would have tried all of this stuff but I guess that is asking a lot.
I just wish the dealer would hurry the F@#$ up. I miss my Magnum and I am tired of driving around this damn Pacifica.

My dealer didn't know squat about the EVIC and what it can do.

A few years ago I had a problem with my Dodge Grand Caravan. The lights on the air conditioner and other buttons kept flashing all day long. I brought it to one dealer who said it was a $360.00 part not covered by my warranty and I would need to come back another day, than leave it all day. Then I brought it to another dealer who was a little easier to talk to. He walked up to the van, opened the door, pressed two buttons near the air conditioner console and held them in. In a few seconds all the lights and displays cycled and reset. My problem was solved. He told me all the other dealers had to know about this fix, they were just trying to scam me for the part. Keep this in mind when they tell you they can't figure out an electrical problem. Good luck.....
