I have a 98 caravan 2wd 3.3L nearing 100,000 miles. Yesterday I replaced the front rotors and pads. When I drove it afterwards, I noticed a thumping sound when I applied the brake in a normal fashion. I couldn't determine where the noise was coming from. I jacked it up and checked everything, couldn't find a problem. Drove it again and had the same problem. After about a mile or so, the noise got louder and seems to be coming from the right front. It like it thumps once for each wheel revolution, but only when braking. Any clues? Thanks.

Sounds like a brake pad is not tight in the caliper.
