2005 GC - Sirius Radio - STATIC!!

Just bought our 2005 Grand Canavan - only 220 miles and we love it!

Factory installed Sirius w/6-disk DVD/CD with the single CD unit above - not sure of the model number.

OK - the Sirius radio sometimes goes to all static with a very low volume of the radio in the background. When this happens it is on all Sirius stations but not on the CD/AM/FM etc.

I'm thinking a loose antenna? Any ideas?

I love to rock out to the Sirius :rck: but this is making me CRAZY.... :VHOT:

This is a problem that has been posted before mostly in the Ram truck section, apparently DC does not know the cause, others have posted that replacing the radio has solved the problem, I to have the problem but very rarely, stoping and restarting seems to make the problem go away temporiraly

Finally figured out how to search the forums and got some good ideas - like shuting the radio off before powering down - I'll try them all.
