AC doesn't kick in

I have '98 3.0 Voyager SE 6 cyl, 125K in great shape. However, the AC will not kick in at all. The AC light button lights and the blower blows. It doesn't kick in with the defrost either. I get a Code 33, "AC clutch relay open or shorted" when I do the computer code test. I switched the clutch relay with others in the panel next to the battery and the relay worked fine with the high beams and lights. I tried other relays in the AC clutch connection and still nothing. I also removed the panel of relays and fuses to check that the connections were tight. Any thoughts?

You could have a wiring problem or the clutch on the AC compressor is bad.

Hey Dragan. Did you ever finnd the ac prolbem with your caravan?Ive got a 96 3.3 doing the same thing.Let me know if you found anything.thanks.
