PLEASE HELP-oil light keeps comming on.

02 Intrepid, 33,000 miles, amsoil synthetic since new. Oil light comes on at hot idle, sending unit replaced by dealer but light has come on several more times since.What gives????

if your engine is a 2.7 liter the oil passages are small and are easily getting plugged with varnish or coked (burnt) oil. with any 2.7, when you get the oil change, make sure they run oil flush through it first. it will help break up the junk
