I loved the amount of snow they would get in Peru! Of course I never had to drive in it but it was awesome to play in as a kid :stk:
Let us know how she handled the weather and roads!

Seriously, get rid of those damn stock tires and get even the cheapest snow tires you can find!!!!
Our 2000LE was scary to drive in on those damns Goodyear LAs!!! A set of $300 no-name snow tires mounted on a $50 set of 15" "Swiss Cheese" Rims (84-85 Lazer) does an 1000 times better!

i have an update on the car and the snow. i went out and brushed her off yesterday herew at the apartment (9 inches snow and some ice underneath), started her up, put her in reverse, and backed up, but had to do the rocking motion thing (1st gear, reverse, first gr, reverse) but she made it out awesume cause 9 inches snow and 6 inches ground clearence on the neon. so i backed her up and parked her so they could plow, then had to move it back to my spot afterwords. I got some things done, then went up to the chazy house (13 mile drive) to do some skiing. the roadfs were fine cept on those open fields it was blowing across so i just downshifted to 4th gear and it was windy too but she held her own. I felt very protected and safe in that car. I gotr up to the driveway and the plow had come through but i still made in in ok. then i stopped to get the paper. then i started going again, and she was workin good. then i came to the "nice corner" in the driveway and goin strait but she turned on me. so i was in the snowbank (asbnotu a foot of snow). so i put her in reverse and backed up fine, awesume considering the neon is only 6 inches off the ground! thenm first gear but i was stuck cause snow built up underneath. I kept on getting stuck trying to get unstuck, even backing out i got stuck and i was dfoing better then then driving in. i eventually was able to drive up from halfway down the driveway, around the corner to the garage, thios was after i snowblowed the corner and driveway. even after it was snowblowed i was struggling cause there was ice underneath it. yea we gopt some freezing rain before the foot of snow so there was the problem. had it just ben plain snow it would of been fine. All in all i was very pleased with the car and how it performed, even on the snow and ice onb the driveway and backing up in about a foot of snow. Front wheel drive is very very good, but sometimes snow gets built up underneath the car and you have to shovel underneath the car and aroundf the car to get out of a mess like i did yesterday. All in all I am very pleased with the car and glad I have a neon. It did very well considering its a lot lioghter then other cars I know.
