Special Order Neon 95-98 W/2.4l Doch

HI GUYS!!
Yes im female... got a little question for all of you!
I have a 98 neon , this june I swapped the stock 2.0L DOCH with a 2.4L DOCH out of a 99 Breeze. Anyways I had a few problems, got it all worked out but I am in a huge debate with a chrysler tech right now. he is telling me that between the years of 95-99 there was a neon (only available through special order) that came with a 2.4L doch? Anyone ever hear of this? I havent, I always thought if there was a car available with the 2.4L why is everyone so gungho about doing the swap when they could just buy one... I honestly think this guy is confused with the 2004 Dodge Neon SRT but Hey i may be wrong. If anyone has a link to a web page either supporting or not this idea could you please email me...

The Neon never had a 2.4L until the SRT-4. lol

I needed to know for sure... I thought for some reason I was wrong, guess a tech will do that to you when you are just a stupid girl brining your car in....
Anyways thanks so much, I recieved a response from chrysler today in response to my question also so it has been all cleared up. The only reason I needed the information so badly was because I am in a huge battle with them due to a wonderful technician whose wonderful work lead to me blowing my brand new 2.4L that I put in only 4 months earlier.
