Hey guys, I own a ram and was thinking of trading it for a srt-4. For all you stockers, or people who were stock, could you tell me the AVERAGE mpg for your srt-4? This is combined city and highway and driving it like you normally would, fast. I had someone tell me he was only averaging 12 mpg before he installed his stage 2 kit. That is what my hemi is getting. Thanks alot.

I haven't calculated, but I think its around 20 when I get on a decent amount. Not sure, I fill it when it gets to 3/4's a tank cuz it seems to crackle more on a full tank. You should definently get better gas mileage than a pickup. Also, this is the last year there making em, mayb eyou could snag a ACR limited edition :D. I haven't regreted getting mine yet.

ACR limited edition? And this is the last year they are making them? I test drove one the other day and when I slammed second I ripped the cheesy chrome knob off in my hand, my buddy, the service advisor at the place, was laughing his ass off. Car FFFIIINNNGGG flies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot believe they built that car with that motor and are selling them for 20k. Also, what did you pay, they have 10 yes, 10 04 leftovers with no miles. I know they have to get rid of them. What price should I look for?

I get between 19-20 mpg and my average trip is only an 8 mile round trip for work. So on the highway I would expect around 25-30mpg. My driving consists of a few highway pulls, one to work, and one home. O ccasionalyy getting into 3 digit speeds.

Yea, just about everyone changes out the shiftknob with the one from www.modernperformance.com, great knob, like 8 set screws or something, can't remember. Yes 2005, is the last year of this neon and the SRT-4, or so I've heard from a ton of people. They may release another one someday but no rumors yet. The ACR version will be released as a 2005.5 model year with limited production and a different susupension and different wheels ( 16's diff style rather than the 17's), it also has a different type of viper seat with a 4 point harness. If you do a search you can find some more out about this ACR version. As, for price, I have no idea, it will drop quite a bit cuz its a 04 but I could not tell ya. I love the car, no complaints here.

What price did you all pay? I was looking at a 2004 SRT with sunroof for 21,335. What would be a good price to pay being it is a LEFTOVER with hardly any miles, probably under 20. I mean what what be considered a great deal? thanks

The guy said 19990 for one with a sunroof. They have nine 04 leftovers so I figure he has room to move. I would be trading my truck but I don't know now they emailed me back playing hardball about my trucks value.
