a 98 stratus i can not get any spark! i just changed the head gasket replaced the cam sensor and the crank sensor tested the innition coil(good) i am getting no power at all to the coil itself. the engine is rotating but just not firing. does anyone have any suggestions on what i should try next.

all your fuses good? all the sensors plugged in? Which side are you not gettong power at the coil? The primary or secondary side?

fuses all look good. the sensors are all plugged in. i am getting no power at all to the circuit.

Re-check the timing belt. I just went through the same thing.

sorry for the late reply but i just reset the timing and am getting the same results. as a last check tommorow i will check for any pinched wires recheck the cams then reset the timing before looking at the pcm might be bad. thanks

I need to change my timing belt and water pump on a 99 ES with a 2.4L motor. Can anybody help on how to get the crankshaft damper off?? I got it part way off with a 3-jaw puller, but the damper hit the side of the frame rail before it came off the shaft. Is there some way to lower the engine (passenger side) so the damper clears the frame?

take a piece of wood and tap it to get it even further to the edge. then you need to poisition yourself in front of the pulley and with some effort you will need to wiggle the pulley from side to side until it comes off. it is a pain to remove. hope this helps.
