Hello everyone I have a problem with my dodge. The check engine light is on. and the car dies when I'm at a red light (stopped) or when I'm barely moving (10 mph around there). Also when im driving faster the car sometimes starts jerking and getting shakey. I did an oil change that didn't really do anything, then I added fuel injection cleaner, it got better for like a day and a half but then it started f***ing up again. Anyone know whats going on with my dodge (by the way ive had it for like 2 years from an auction block and this is the only thing that has happened dodge rocks!)

What engine and how many miles? Check engine light can be anything from a loose fuel CAP to a bad computer. Does the light stay on or just come on when it is acting up? Was it on before you started having problems?

I would get the codes read, go to autozone if the check engine light is on they will read them for free.

Wow haven't checked here in a while. Just thought I fixed that car a while ago just completely forgot about this thread. Well might as well tell everyone out there how it got fixed. It was a bad sensor. Forgot which one. I think it cost me somewhere between 150-200 to fix. Hopefully i didn't get ripped off. Thanks again everyone for the help.

Yeah, if you could post which sensor that might help out those who run into the same prob as you. Good deal on getting it fixed. It's never nice where our cars give us grief.

hey guys. damn im gonna go look for the stupid sensor. i think i left it in the garage somewhere. but it was pretty easy to fix. just took it the mechanic, he did the diagnostic comp check thingy. told me what was wrong then fixed it. as for the sensor i think it was a cam sensor, or was it the 02 sensor? let me go see...
