I have a couple of burnt bulbs on my ac/heat panel. Any " how to" tips on getting the cover plate off / things to avoid, etc ??

My cars lights right there but the wireing is screwing....sometimes I have to quickly turn then vent selector left to right...and they magically start working again....any help on getting in there and checking wires? I know it is a loose wire...but how do you get in the basterd....

yep, pull of your dash shroud which is 4 screws ehind that hvac/ radio bezel, then theres one in the fuse box on the drivers side of the dash, take off those 5 screws, then pull the dash off. theres a few tabs holding the face plate to the hvac on. you might be able to get away with just pulling the hvac/radio bezel off if your pretty good with your hands. its also not that hard to take the whole hvac unit out if you need to. but, theres three clips on the top and three on the botton and that faceplate pops off and your good to go. i have also heard but not tested the theory that you can just pull the nobbs off and get in that way.
