Our Durango doesn't quite have 11,000 miles on it and last week when I was driving it (wifey's car), I noticed a prominant squeal coming from the right rear when braking.

Anyone else experience this?

My '04 Durango has about 27k on it, and it was squealing quite a bit, even when not braking. I bought it used with about 22k on it. It had been a rental, so I figured the previous drivers liked to ride the brakes here in the mountains of Colorado.

I just took it in to my mechanic to check the pads, and he said they're fine--just dirty. I try to hose off the brake dust every time I wash it, but it would seem that they D's brakes are prone to squeaking. Guess we'll have to live with it (or get ceramic pads).
