I am also looking at putting a street cam (crane) into my 2001 neon.
Anyone else performed a cam swap? Wat sorta hp outputs should I be able to achieve? Im thinkin prob 30-40 hp.

No off-the-shelf crane is going to give you that kind of gains on its own. The camshaft in the R/T's and ACR's is as good as the Crane 010 or 012 (the 2001 Magnum engine getting the better cam) and good for 10 or so HP over the regular SOHC cam with no other mods. The Crane 014 might get you closer to 15 HP, but it works better with higher compression and breathing mods.

i hurd r/t cam is direct fit.. since its a SOHC too.. holla..

The 2nd gen R/T (and/or ACR) cam from the Magnum engine (the only engine available on 2nd gen R/T's and ACR's) is a direct fit, sorry if that wasn't clear ;). However, the regular SOHC valvesprings won't support that aggressive of a cam, so you'd have to use the Magnum springs at the very least, or Cranes (no need for titanium retainers...).
