Spark plug boot leaking oil

Hello,

I am new to this forum, so let me first say hello to everyone. Second, I am having trouble with my car, in that
there is oil coming from one of the boots that covers the spark plug. Is this a major issue? Need advice on this. Thanks.

okay
you have to establish if in fact oil is coming out of the plug area or if it is coming from somewhere else and puddling at the plug.

couldnt help to check that the plug is loose.or that maybe you lost the plug washer when the plugs were installed or that the wrong plug is in the hole.

gunk and a hose will clean off the oil
then drive it for a few days and then check again.


check the valve cover for leaks and oil anywhere else
if all clean then just round the bases with checks

if the plug threads are an insert. then it is possible that the insert is leaking.

if you are not mech minded, get a mechanic.
