Can someone tell me how to remove the overhead console on my 2005 Grand Caravan SXT? I went to the local library and to my dealer, where both had manuals that did not go beyond 2003. Both said the same thing (for the earlier version): remove the screw in the front, and gently pull the console straight down while grasping it on both sides. Unfortunately, mine does not have a screw in the front (or if it does, I cannot find it). I need to remove the console to access wiring.

Thanks. My 2005 GC also has a sunroof and probably the same console that you have, but I cannot find a screw in the front, to remove as per the removal instructions for the 2003.

The manual does talk to removing the screw but I don't see one either ... I assume that it is just held by the clips ....it says:

(2) Remove the overhead console retaining screw,
located in the front of console.
(3) Grasp the sides of the overhead console and
pull straight down evenly to disengage the two snap
clips at the rear of the unit.
(4) Lower the overhead console far enough to
access the wire harness connectors.
(5) Disconnect the EVIC, CMTC or CT electronic
module and the reading/courtesy lamps electrical
connector.
(6) Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.

I would just grab both sides and pull down.

Thanks, I tried it - I just grasped the console and pulled it down. There is no screw on it, only 2 clips, 6 inches apart, at the rear of the unit. Once the rear is released, the front pivots down a little and everything is visible enough to remove.

Thanks much for your assisstance. I grabbed the console and firmly pulled down to reveal that it is supported at the rear by 2 clips, 6 inches apart. The front is supported by a little overhang that fits into a bracket mounted on the roof (ceiling). So..., basically, to remove this console, pull it down from the rear, and you'll see how to do the rest.
