1992 caravan control module reset

Hello,

Can someone please tell me the most effective way to reset the car's computer.
Can I simply detach the battery and close the pos and neg wires?

Yep, just disconnect the battery for 20 min., reattach and that should reset the computer.

I tried disconnecting the wires and shorting them, but only for 30 seconds.

I'll let you know after work today. Otherwise, I gues we're into a new control module.
