Hello, I have a 92 grand with the 3.3l motor, and 4speed OD trans. It had sat in my yard a few months, and after that, the speedo has not worked. There was some nest stuff under the hood, so I am assuming something probably chewed a wire somewere. Well, I searched around where the nest was, and see no broken wires. One of the tranny speed sencers I had replaced hoping it was the problem. The sencer and the pulg were full of oil. This one was the output sensor I belive. It was at the front of the tranny, over near the driver side. Can someone point me in a direction to look? I have no speedo, no cruse, no odometer, and the trip computer does not work eather. Everything else is fine. It shifts well, and the engine runs the same as always, so it seems it has just effected whatever sensor gives the speed for the speedo. What one would that be?
Thanks for your time. I like the van, just would realy like the speedo to work.
