1994 Caravan Starter Won't Turn????

I'm working on my wife's Caravan and can't get the darn starter to turn. She drove it last night and it was fine. This morning, we went out there, turned the key and nothing????We've never had this kind of problem. You can hear the relays under the hood click but not the solenoid nor starter. I checked the battery, terminals etc... All good. From there, I thought bad starter. The only problem is that I can jump the solenoid to the battery (+) and it starts up fine. I tried checking fuses and links but can't find anything except the main relay under the hood. Any suggestions? Oh btw, I checked the neutral start/reverse light switch. It appears good. Maybe ignition switch???? Please help. We need both cars. I forgot to mention, it rained quite a bit over night...

have you changed the distributor cap lately ? Maybe a hairline crack ...

I discovered that the starter relay was bad. $10 and got her crankin right up again. Was real tricky though. Everything seemed ok...relays clicking etc...just no crank. I thought i'd pull the relay apart just to look inside. Sure enough, the little button contact was completely gone.
