Help!!! I get a check engine light when the engine is started cold. I get a code 43. Once the engine is warm, everything is fine. No check engine light and no trouble code after clearing codes. Only happens when the egine is cold.

Check out Allpar for Chrysler Computer codes. It lists the following possibilities for 43:

"43 Peak primary coil current not achieved with max dwell time
OR
43 Cylinder misfire
OR
43 Problem in power module to logic module interface "
None of these appear to be major issues. If it were mine, I would let it go for now and check the codes every month or so to make sure nothing else is in there.

Looks like the problem is with the PCM! I put a heat gun on the PCM to warm it up before I started the engine. As soon as it was warm, the engine started without anymore problems.
